Please note that approval of course changes are determined by class availability set through the 2024-2025 Master Schedule.  If a course change is made, the student's overall schedule may need to be adjusted in order to accommodate the class.  Any changes that have been approved will be emailed to the parent/guardian email listed in your child's PowerSchool account indicated on this form.  We do our best to process changes in a timely manner.  However, please be aware that it is not guaranteed that the change will be able to be made prior to the first day of school. If you do not hear back from us it means that your change request was not able to be processed, based on space availability.  

Examples of a VALID schedule change request:  
+Missing a period
+Missing a core academic course
+Scheduled for a duplicate class
+Scheduled for the wrong grade level

Examples of INVALID schedule change requests:  
+Changing a teacher
+Changing lunch period assigned for 7th graders
+Changing to be with friends
+Changing to have a class during a different time in the of day
+Changing an elective if student was placed into one of their three elective (first choice elective or one of their two alternate elective choices)
+Changing to another Wheel quarter elective course as 6th grade Wheel quarter electives are randomly assigned. 
 
**Please know that if a student failed to submit their course requests by the May 3, 2024 deadline, the student was scheduled into courses where there was space and will not have the opportunity to make a schedule change request in Fall 2024**
