Starting on Tuesday November 28th, Parras Middle School will be holding its annual Parent Conferences. Conferences will run through Friday December 1st, and will be held in classrooms.
Here is how you can successfully sign-up for Parent Conferences.
1) Please go to the following linked spreadsheet: Parent Conferences Registration Spreadsheet

2) Once there, find the teachers you’d like to meet with, and select their SignUp Genius link.
3) Once on the teacher’s SignUp Genius page, choose a day and time that works best for you and complete the steps to schedule your conference. Please sign-up for conferences using your student’s name.
4) Repeat for any teachers that your student has that you would like to meet with. You do not need to meet with all teachers
Tips/suggestions for a successful conference:
-Your conference will have a 10-minute window, including the transition to your next conference (if you scheduled them back-to-back). Please plan to engage with the teacher for 7-8 minutes, leaving 2-3 minutes of time to transition to the next conference location.
-Here are some great questions to ask:
-What concepts or essential standard does my student understand well?
-What concepts or skills does my student need to practice?
-What is one habit that would help my student improve in your class?
