Broken Chromebook? Bring it in and I'll see if I can fix it and give it right back to you. If it needs to be sent out to our District IT department, I will issue you a loaner until yours is returned. I will contact you when your CB comes back - at that time you return the loaner (and charger if you received one).
Need to print something - share it with me through Google at my email address above and come in and pick it up.
Please note that Chromebook insurance can only be purchased through October 1st.
CHROMEBOOKS
Chromebooks are to be used responsibly. Summer registration packets will include Guidelines for Technology Use that all students and parents will sign. Students must abide by these guidelines:
- Students should never give their login and password information to other students
- Chromebook insurance may be purchased through PowerSchool and is strongly encouraged. For students whose chromebook is accidentally damaged or in need of repair, the cost is $25
- In cases of intentional damage or if a student does not have chromebook insurance, the fee is $250 for repairs
- Students who intentionally damage another student’s chromebook are responsible for any fees. Parents will be notified, and student will be required to complete a reflection assignment and campus service with administration
- Chromebooks must remain in lockers during nutrition, lunch, and PE
- Students should have their name label on their chromebook at all times
- Students should notify library staff of lost, stolen, or damaged chromebooks immediately
- Additional disciplinary actions will be taken for students with multiple instances of damaged/lost chromebooks
