Incoming 6th Grade
2026-2027 Course Selection
We are so excited to have you join our Panther Family! We are beginning our Course Selection process for the next school year. Our Course Selection window will open Monday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. and will close Friday, May 1st at 3:00 p.m. Selecting course preferences can be completed in the student or parent portal in PowerSchool. Please click 6th Grade Course Selection for the directions on how to select courses for your student.
Here are some important reminders when selecting your course preferences:
- Requests for our Leadership elective, Video Production elective and Yearbook elective must be accompanied by an application.
- Leadership (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Video Production (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Yearbook (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Applications are due by 5/1/2026 at 3:00 p.m. Please note that applications can only be accessed through a student RBUSD email account.
- Students are asked to submit a maximum of two specialty applications
- Students interested in Band will select Symphonic Band for their elective

Parras school counselors have been presenting to 5th grade classes this week at each elementary school site. If you are curious about the information that was shared with your child, you can view their presentation below.

Appointment times will be emailed out in August. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please attend Make-up Registration.
After School Care
After school care is available for 6th grade only through the Right At School program. For more information, please visit the link below.
We also offer quarterly afterschool enrichment classes. More information can be found here. Information is updated quarterly with new classes.
