Hi, everyone. I’m the school counselor for students whose last name begins with the letters A - K.  I am honored to be a part of the Parras Panthers family, and I’m excited to support students through their middle school journey.  The South Bay has been my home for a long time.  After graduating from Narbonne High School, I attended Harbor Community College and then Cal State, Dominguez Hills. I obtained both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cal State, Dominguez Hills. I also hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. I started my career as a school counselor in 1997, and I joined the RBUSD staff in 2007.   When I am not working with RBUSD students and families, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.

L-Z:  Amber Beach

Greetings, Panthers! I am so excited to be rejoining the Parras team this year as the L-Z (last name) School Counselor. Since 2014, I have had the pleasure of serving students and families in RBUSD. I was born and raised near Mammoth Mountain and grew up hiking and camping in the Sierra. College brought me to the big city where I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Education from Loyola Marymount University. After studying, working and volunteering in Europe, Australia and Africa, I completed my Masters in Education - Emphasis in Counseling and my Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. Outside of the counseling office, I love being a mom, mustering up DIY projects, checking out farmers markets with my kiddos, and humanitarianism. I look forward to working with you during these impressionable and fun middle school years!
